GAARA Board of Directors are seeking an individual to assume the Registrar's position for the remainder of the term (end of 2024-25 playing season).
Duties of the registrar include:
a) provide instruction to the general membership with respect to the registration process, including deadlines, for players, teams, and bench staff;
b) ensure that all teams, players, bench staff members, Board members, and other volunteers, registering through GAARA, are registered in the RAMP registration system;
c) in conjunction with the Treasurer and Web Administrator, ensure all players registered as spares have remitted their fees before they are listed on the GAARA website;
d) in conjunction with the Treasurer, ensure the appropriate payment is remitted to RO and/or ERRA for player, bench staff and Board membership dues and insurance;
e) in collaboration with the League Scheduler, ensure that risk management and safety audit forms are submitted to ERRA for all rinks utilized by GAARA which are not utilized by ERRA minor teams; and
f) attend and provide a report at the GAARA Board of Director Meetings and All-member meetings.

Without a Registrar we will not be able to open up the 2024-25 playing season! Therefore, if there are no applications by the AGM we will be pulling a team out of the virtual hat. The Team selected will be required to identifying an individual to fulfil the role from their roster.
