Registration Dates and Fees

Registration for the 2026-2027

Registration Dates

• June 26: RAMP registration opens for team reps to create their team in the system
• July 20: RAMP registration opens for returning and approved players to register on their team
• August 24: RAMP Registration opens for approved League Affiliate players (Spares)
• August 29: Bench staff registration opens (exact date to be confirmed and communicated to team reps at a later date)
• September 30: The registrar will send out current team rosters (TRFs) for verification
• November 1: The RAMP Registration system is locked; all new registrations require Ringette Ontario (RO) approval
• January 8: Last date to register players on your team and be eligible to play in GAARA league game and Silverspoon Tournament
• January 30: RO team roster change/addition deadline

Team Registration

Before players can register the team must be registered in the RAMP database. Once all teams have registered, Membership Services will activate all the teams. 

Once activated, teams will send out the team invite code to all the players they entered on their roster during the team registration code. Players must register using the code to ensure they register under your team.

Player Registration (on Team)

GAARA Player registration, for returning and approved players, will open on July 20th to register on their team. Registration will be done through the RAMP Registration Portal for all players. Instructions will be provided once the portal opens

Note: given there are legal forms that are read and signed as part of the player and bench staff registration, every team member is individually responsible for completing their own registration.

League Affiliate (Spares) 

A league affiliate is a player (skater or goaltender) who is a free-agent and not affiliated with any team. They will be able to spare for any team at their approved level, or higher, in accordance with section 11 of the League Rules and Regulations.

Bench Staff 

All teams are required to have a qualified bench staff member registered on their TRF and present during sanctioned events. Information on how to register will be provided once we open up registration for bench staff.

Registration Fees

Ringette Ontario Membership and Registration Fees

To be paid at time of registration in RAMP by the individual:

• Player: $92.00 ($77.00 membership + $15.00 insurance)
• Bench Staff: $75.00 ($60.00 membership + $15.00 insurance*)
• Official: $75.00 ($60.00 membership + $15.00 insurance)

*Insurance is only charged once if you have multiple roles

GAARA Fees (as per Financial Policy)

1. Team Fees - due July 31, 2026
   • Team Bond: $100.00
   • Tournament Bond: $250.00
   • Team Leagues fees
     • A Division: $1,000.00
     • BB Division: $1,000.00
     • B Division: $1,000.00
     • C Division: $950.00
     • Dev Division: $950.00
   • All team fees are due by July 31, 2026 Payment is by eTransfer to treasurer@gaara.ca. For alternate payment arrangements, please contact the Treasurer. Please ensure to note your team’s name and division on all eTransfers.
2. League Affiliate Player (Spare)
   • League fee: $50.00
   • Payment information will be part of the new GAARA registration process that will be posted to the website once Affiliate Player Registration opens mid August.

Ice Pool Fees (correction)

Teams using GAARA provided ice - cost for 2026-2027 season: $4,435

Due dates for the ice are:

• First Installment due July 31 2026: $2,200
• Final Installment due October 15 2026: $2,235

Payments are to be sent by eTransfer to the Treasurer at treasurer@gaara.ca. Please ensure to indicate in the memo section of the etransfer: Ice Payment from team name division. For example: Ice payment from Ottawa Eclipse C.
