2024-2025 GAARA Registration

2024-2025

Registration is done through the RAMP Portal for all teams and players.

Follow the instructions for registering once RAMP opens for returning and approved players to register on their team.

Note: given there are legal forms that are read and signed as part of the player and bench staff registration, every team member is individually responsible for completing their own registration.

Registration Dates

• June 10: RAMP registration opens for team reps to create their team in the system
• July 17: RAMP registration opens for returning and approved players to register on their team
• August 30: Bench staff registration opens
• September 2: RAMP Registration opens for approved League Affiliate players (Spares)
• September 30: The registrar will send out current team rosters (TRFs) for verification
• November 1: The RAMP Registration system is locked; all new registrations require Ringette Ontario (RO) approval
• January 8: Last date to register players on your team and be eligible to play in league games
• January 30: RO team roster change/addition deadline

League Affiliate (Spares) - Registration Opens September 2

A league affiliate is a player (skater or goaltender) who is a free-agent and not affiliated with any team. They will be able to spare for any team at their approved level, or higher, in accordance with section 11 of the League Rules and Regulations.

Bench Staff - Registration Opens August 30

All teams are required to have a qualified bench staff member registered on their TRF and present during sanctioned events. Information on Bench Staff roles and responsibilities can be found on the GAARA website.

Registration Fees 

Ringette Ontario Membership & Registration Fees

To be paid at time of registration in RAMP by the individual:

• Player: $80.00 ($67.25 membership + $12.75 insurance)
• Bench Staff: $70.00 ($57.25 membership + $12.75 insurance*)
• Official: $70.00 ($57.25 membership + $12.75 insurance)

*Insurance is only paid once if you have multiple roles

GAARA Fees (as per Financial Policy)

1. Team Fees - due August 27, 2024

• Team bond: $100.00
• Tournament Bond: $100.00
• Team Leagues fees
• A Division: $970.00
• BB Division: $945.00
• B Division: $945.00
• C Division: $895.00
• Dev Division: $905.00
• All team fees are due by August 27, 2024. Payment is by eTransfer to treasurer@gaara.ca. For alternate payment arrangements, please contact the Treasurer. Please ensure to note your team’s name and division on all eTransfers.
  
  

2. League Affiliate Player (Spare)

• League fee: $45.00
• Payment information will be part of the new GAARA registration process that will be posted to the website once Affiliate Player Registration opens mid August.

Ice Pool Fees 

Teams using GAARA provided ice - cost for 2024-2025 season: $4230.00

 

Due dates for the ice are:

• First Installment due August 15 2024: $2,330.00
• Final Installment due October 14 2024: $1,900.00

Payments are to be sent by eTransfer to the Treasurer at treasurer@gaara.ca.
